The Booking Process:
IMPORTANT: Before booking please read all the details below
1 – Our online booking system is mostly for Evening Walks
2 – Full Day Tours an Exclusive Tours require you to email us first for dates. We will then create a specific payment link for you to book online.
3 – You can book single places, but a minimum of three people is required for Evening Walks and two people for Full Day Tours.
4 – Date availability changes regularly as new dates are released so it is always worth checking back.
5 – We look forward to seeing you!
You will receive an email from us confirming the time and location to meet your local guide a few days before your tour date.
Sites vary dependent on beaver activity and time of year.
Our Standard Evening Walks generally meet at a location within 5 – 20 minutes drive from Budleigh Salterton.
We do not provide transport. After meeting at the designated meeting place we will walk from this point.
Note: Full Day Tours and Exclusive Sites often require you to follow your guide using your own vehicle to the tour start points.
Full payment is required to confirm your booking and this can be paid via our online booking system that uses Stripe.
Stripe is an online payment processing and credit card processing platform for businesses. Stripe allows safe and efficient processing of funds via credit card or bank and transfers those funds to our account.
What is included in the tour?
Expertise and knowledge of local guide to escort you to and around the site and ensure that you obtain the best views of the wildlife.
Our full day tours include a cream tea!
What is not included?
Transport to and from sites, any meals other than a cream tea on the full day tour.
If you require an overnight stay in order to join one of our tours we can recommend a number of local guesthouses to allow you to book directly.
The key points relevant to our local Devon tours are as follows:
Cancellations by us: Our tours go ahead rain or shine. However, if the weather forecast is so poor and we feel it is likely to result in far less wildlife being seen, we will try to re-schedule you onto a future tour date. Alternatively, we will refund you in full.
Cancellations by you: If we receive cancellation from you in writing 72 hours or more before the tour date, we will either transfer your payment to a near future date if possible, or refund you 100% of the total tour cost, less your deposit or equivalent fee.
If you cancel less than 72 hours before the tour date, a cancellation fee applies to the the sum of 100% of the total tour cost.
